Part of Merlin’s new residential roller door motor range, the SilentDrive Essential has been designed to meet essential performance requirements for your single or double roller garage door. The quiet and powerful DC motor is built to lift any branded door up to 100kg in weight and 16.5m² in size.

Replacing the QuiteDrive Pro, the SilentDrive Essential offers an improved transmitter range, a premium automatic safety reverse mechanism, automatic force sensing and a pre-set timer-to-close selection. The Essential features Security + 2.0 encryption technology that effectively eliminates transmitter interference, giving you the confidence that your garage will remain secure.

Compatible with Merlin myQ technology, the SilentDrive Essential is capable of pairing with add-on myQ accessories that you can operate and monitor via your mobile phone from anywhere in the world. The motor kit includes 2 Premium+ remotes, a two-button wall remote and weight bar to stabilise the garage door upon opening and closing.
